Drake, Still On Top

April 12, 2017

Drakes latest album (or playlist, as he calls it), ‘More Life’ is spending its third straight week on top of the Billboard 200 charts. Interesting enough it seems that Hip - Hop is dominating the charts these days.

More Life did receive a drop in sales, sitting at 136,000 equivalent album units, during its third week on top, dropping by 40 percent compared to its previous week (226,000 album units), with the majority of these units, streamed.

The album is only available for sale through digital stores and streamable on most platforms. A release date for CD’s was previously set, however this has been put on hold, a new date has not been set yet. We’ve heard a few rumours stating that ‘More Life’ will be available on vinyl in the near future. The team at BTG is hopeful this is true.

But, whats next for drake? He has been seen on social media with producer & positive reinforcement connoisseur, DJ Khaled. …”We really hope those Drake vocals came in.”
